The nerve center of “going digital”, the Paperless Legacy PL-NAS-1 does much more than just store documents, photos, music, and videos. It has an advanced AI brain in the form of a 3090 GPU to perform generative AI locally — no sending private confidential information to Big Tech. In addition to the list in the section below of generative AI software that will be available, conventional NAS software add-ons can optionally be installed by you or by our consultants:
- Surveillance camera recording
- Media server — access your music or movie collection from any TV or speaker in your house
- Smart home — control lights, thermostat, etc.

Maintaining backups, including backups stored off-site, is cruicial when choosing to not store personal confidential data in the cloud. It is generally recommended to use three backup drives, where two are alternated every backup performed, and the third is stored off-site and gets rotated back in to the main site periodically.

Upcoming software products include:
